Mountain Climbing:-Kilimanjaro>8 Lemosho/Shira Route

Day 1 - Transfer from your hotel to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate at Londorossi. Commence trek.Overnight at Mtimkubwa campsite in forest
(9,000ft/2800m).

Day 2 - From here you pass through forest and then across the grassy moorland of the Shira Plateau to reach Shira one Camp. (12,500ft/3800m).
Stay/Camp overnight.

Day 3- Ascending to Shira two for overnight stay. Day 4 – After breakfast hike up Lava Tower for acclimatize then descending
through the dry landscape before dropping again to reach Barranco camp (13,000ft/3900m). Stay/Camp overnight.

Day 5 – After breakfast ascend to Karanga valley,with overnight at Karanga campsite.

Day 6- From Karanga valley camp,ascend to Barafu camp that is at the foot of Kibo Peak,it takes 3 hrs.In the midnight ascending to the summit/Uhuru
Peak 5,895 meters above sea level.

Day 7- After Uhuru Peak descend to Barafu camp for a short rest and then descend to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Descend to the Mweka gate, from where you are transferred back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
