Mountain Climbing:-Kilimanjaro>6 Umbwe Route

Day 1 - Transfer from your hotel to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate at Umbwe. From here you trek along a narrow ridge between the Lonzo and Umbwe
rivers to reach Bivouac No. 1 (also called Forest Caves ) at 9,400ft/2800m. Camp Overnight .

Day 2 -After bbreakefast trek slowly to baranco Camp. Lunch, dinner and over night stay at baranco camp. (3950M)

Day -3 Leave Baranco camp after breakfast to karanga camp (4hrs/4300M).lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Karanga camp.

Day 4 - Leave Karanga camp after breakfast to Barafu Camp (3hrs\4300). lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Barafu Camp.

Day 5 - Trek begins very early and clients are expected to reach the summit by daybreak. then descend slowly to Mweka Camp ( 8-10hrs up and
down)

Day 6 - Leave Mweka Camp after breakfast and then proceed further down to Mweka Gate, back to the hotel in Moshi.
